Performance & Reliability
Built specifically for the HP ProBook 450 G3 650 G2 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.
Since this part number covers five distinct model names, we verify the exact fit against the specific chassis before packing rather than assuming interchangeability. This means the keyboard you receive should seat flush with no lifted corners or misaligned function-row keys, whether it is going into a 450 G3, a 650 G2, or any of the other covered variants.
Compatibility
Fits HP ProBook 450 G3, 455 G3, 470 G3, 650 G2, and 655 G2 laptops sharing part number 831021-001. Confirm your exact model before ordering.
Safety & Quality Standards
Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.
Easy Installation
Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.
Ideal Users & Use Cases
Ideal for professionals running HP ProBook 450/650 G2-G3 laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It suits corporate IT teams standardizing repairs across a mixed ProBook fleet, remote workers who depend on their laptop daily and cannot wait long for a fix, and finance or admin staff who use the numeric keypad constantly for data entry. Repair shops that see frequent ProBook 450/650 walk-ins will also find this a useful part to keep in stock.
