Timo Wa Computers works from the 4th floor of Bihi Towers in Nairobi CBD. The workshop repairs laptops, desktops, phones and consoles for people and for offices, and sells the laptops, parts and accessories that most repairs need.
The way it works has not changed since the first bench: look at the machine properly, tell the customer what is wrong and what it costs, and only then start. Most jobs are back in a day or two. Companies, schools and institutions get the same treatment on a contract, with on-site visits and a fixed monthly price.
